On your side during Brexit

The UK is due to leave the European Union on March 29th 2019. Directly or indirectly that will affect all of our jobs.

Ever since the referendum in June 2016 GMB has raised specific issues which matter to members with politicians and in the House of Commons. We have worked with employer organisations where there are specific issues facing industries we can all unite around.

At the same time, we have resisted efforts to attack members’ pay and conditions.

GMB has pressed the Government to produce impact assessments on their plans for the different sectors of the economy and demanded plans to ensure jobs are safeguarded. Whichever way people voted in the referendum, no-one voted to be poorer or to risk their job.

With more and more organisations preparing for a range of different Brexit scenarios we wanted to hear from you as to how you currently think Brexit will affect your workplace? We would like to hear how well prepared you think your employer is and if there are Brexit-related issues we can raise on behalf of you and your colleagues.

"GMB believes it is vital that workers views and experiences are heard in the crucial months ahead."

Filling in this confidential survey will help us provide an accurate reflection on the issues facing workplaces and do all we can to support our members at this uncertain time.
