What should parents do when their kids are sick off school? Flexible working and school holidays - how do you ask for time off? What are your rights if you're stuck at home because of the weather?
We've all been there - a situation where you're not quite sure of your rights, but not able to simply call up a lawyer and ask for their advice.
So, we've teamed up with UNIONLINE - GMB's own law firm - to offer a new series of resources with quickfire legal advice, exactly when you need it. We're calling it Quick Rights.
The resources will come in all sorts of formats, from brief PDF documents, to graphics and videos, but they'll all have one thing in common: professional, qualified legal advice delivered in a timely and easy to understand format.
And here's your first: what to do if you're snowed in and can't make it to work.
We've already seen some snow in parts of the UK this year, and it's possible that more is round the corner.
We love talking about the weather, but if it catches you off guard this winter don't blame the weatherman - snow your rights instead.
