We held a successful parliamentary drop in session for MPs across all parties to sign up to the 'Dying to Work' workplace charter.

The charter commits employers to ensure that should a member of their staff become terminally ill, that their rights at work will be fully upheld.

The campaign has come out of GMB Midland and East Coast region but following our parliamentary activity, it has seen support and awareness for the campaign grow significantly across the country - both with employers and parliamentarians.

During this one drop in session alone, over 100 MPs came to sign up to the GMB/TUC charter and more have expressed an interest and willingness to take this out of Westminster and into their constituencies.

You can find out more about the campaign and how to sign up to the charter at https://www.dyingtowork.co.uk

And you can follow the campaign on Twitter, including lots more photos with MPs, using the hashtag #DyingToWork
